FG Matches Thousands of Nigerian Youths To Employers

The federal government, yesterday, had matched thousands of Nigerian youths with employers and assigned one-year paid jobs as a part of their onboarding into the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP).

NJFP is a youth empowerment partnership between the Federal Government, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), European Union (EU) and other partners which aims to connect talented young graduates with local job opportunities that apply their expertise, while equipping them with world-class practical knowledge and relevant skills.

While speaking at the onboarding event, it was noted that the path to solving the Nigerian present economic problems will require a collaboration between the government, private sector, civil society, and development partners or what is called the third sector, and our administration is keen on getting all parties on board.

The programme is designed to provide jobs annually to about 20,000 young Nigerian graduates with 12-month paid internships at leading firms, companies and in the public sector

Can you believe that the Vice President launched this programme yesterday when only just 2,000 youths have so far been matched out of 20,000.

If you want to register for NJFP, kindly CIick Here to start.
