Akwa Ibom discharges 3 coronavirus patients on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Akwa Ibom State Government announced that they have discharged three coronavirus patients after they tested negative.

This was disclosed in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital by the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government, Emmanuel Ekuwem.

He said “Three suspected cases of the coronavirus in the state have been certified negative by the state government and they have been discharged to join their families.

“The three discharged patients were part of the five index cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

“For now, three confirmed cases of infection are still being treated in the Ibom Specialist Hospital, Uyo.”
