The Seyi Makinde Scholarship Scheme board is inviting Oyo State natives who are financially needy to apply for its 2022 Tertiary Institutions Bursary Award.
The scholarship is available to native students who are registered and enrolled full-time in any Nigerian tertiary institution.

Since May 29, 2019, Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, a politician, businessman, and philanthropist from Nigeria, has led Oyo State. He is an engineer and an authority on gas and fluid metering.
He is the group managing director of the Nigerian oil and gas company Makon Group Limited.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the scholarship, you must:
- Be a citizen of Oyo State
- Must be a registered, full-time undergraduate in any Nigeria tertiary institution.

Required Documents
All applications should be submitted not later than Friday 02, December, 2022 with scanned copies of original:
- Evidence of Local Government or State of Origin Certificate
- School identity card
The application will be rejected if it lacks all of these qualifications. Only those who are chosen for interviews will hear from the board.

Between November 14 and December 2, 2022, forms may be collected everyday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
