Atiku Abubakar’s son tests positive for coronavirus

On Sunday night, the former vice president of Nigeria and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar announced in a tweet that his son tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

“My son has tested positive to coronavirus. @NCDCGov has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real. -AA.” The tweet said.

At the time of filling this report, the NCDC is still yet to make an official statement as regards the case.

If they finally confirm the case, Nigeria will have a total of 31 coronavirus cases in the country.
