On Thursday, the Bauchi State Government announced that they have discharged four coronavirus patients after they tested negative twice.
This was disclosed by the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Baba Tela.
He said: “We discharged four coronavirus patients today, including the index case and we now have only two active cases.
“The State Government has approved N1.98 million for procurement of Virus Transport Medium ( VTM) and we are currently tracing 391 contacts.
“We have also received the result of 160 samples taken to NCDC with six confirmed cases.
“With the state government’s response to the fight against coronavirus, we have temporary shut down two second hand markets in the state, which imports clothing materials from neighboring states with high cases of coronavirus”
