Yiaga Africa’s Turn-Up Democracy Challenge 1.0 asks young people to offer innovative approaches to foster social cohesion or to collaborate with politicians to solve a social problem in their town.
Eligibility and Background
The Turn Up Democracy Challenge 1.0 aims to encourage civic engagement, foster youth enterprise, and advance social harmony. Successful candidates will be awarded grants to carry out planned projects in their areas. The submitted ideas will be evaluated based on their novelty, inclusion, predicted benefits, and long-term viability.
Applicants must be;
· Between the ages of 18 – 25
· A citizen and resident in Nigeria
· Available for a two-day training workshop
· A registered voter
Benefits
· Financial support to implement innovative proposals, ideas, or innovations.
· Increased visibility and international recognition for innovative solutions
