Emerging academics attending conferences are encouraged to apply for the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Early Career Conference Grants, which will allow them to share their research, learn about new discoveries, and form crucial professional networks.

The ACU Early Career Conference Grants seek to guarantee that more early-career researchers and the universities where they work can take advantage of these excellent opportunities.

About Association of Commonwealth Universities

Academics attending both virtual and in-person conferences are eligible for the Early Career Conference Grants. The conference must occur between April 1 and September 30, 2022. The ACU Early Career Conference has up to 40 spots available. Conference registration, flights, lodging, data, visa costs, and other expenses will be covered by the award.

Criteria for Eligibility

Applicants for the ACU Early Career Conference Grants 2022 must meet the following requirements:

Be employed as a lecturer, post-doctoral researcher, professor, associate professor, or equivalent by an ACU member university.

They must have started their academic (research/teaching) career within the last seven years.

Since the beginning of their academic career, they have not traveled outside their territory of employment for work purposes (including conferences).

You must not have previously received an ACU Early Career Conference Grant (previously known as Early Career Academic Grants)
