Corper Precious Owalabi shot dead in Shiites and Police clash

An National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Precious Owalabi has died after sustaining a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Precious, until his death, was serving in the Channels Television and was shot at the scene of the clash between the police and the members of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), better known as Shiites.

Security operatives and members of the sect had clashed around the federal secretariat in Abuja on Monday.
