FG converts all NYSC orientation camps to coronavirus isolation centres

On Friday, the Federal Government announced that all National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) orientation camps in the country will be used as isolation centres in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.

This was made known on Twitter by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare.

“Mr. President has approved for the Ministry of Youth and Sports to open and make available the stadiums in Surulere Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Kaduna, as well as our NYSC camps nationwide for use as isolation centers as they are needed. We are in touch with relevant authorities.” The tweet said.

At the time of filing this report, Nigeria has a total of 70 confirmed cases of the virus in the country, 3 persons have been discharged with one death.

    and the increase cases of COVID-19 in the nation recently

  2. Sir I did jamb regularization in which they mistakingly put 1992 as my date of birth instead of 1986 and I registered with NYSC and they give me call up number but not posted yet. Pls what can I do to make me exempted bcs I don’t want to serve. Please I need your advice.
