FG Flags Off NPC 2023 Census E-Recruitment Staff Training

The Nigerian Population Commission (NPC) conducts E-Recruitment training for the pilot census. The purpose of the training is to inform the participants about the e-recruitment concept and procedures in order to ensure that guidelines and standards are followed in the recruitment of officials for the pilot census.

This is for applicants who want to work as enumerators in the impending 2023 census. It is critical that you stay up to speed on all NPC information channels so that you are aware of when the recruitment process begins.

Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, Chairman of the National Population Commission, kicked began the training for State Desk Officers on e-recruitment for the Pilot Census at Work and Connect, Utako, Abuja, on Friday, May 27, 2022.

While declaring the preparation open, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra advised the authorities to be dedicated and focused on the substance of the preparation, as much is expected of them to ensure a smooth and trouble-free enlisting process for the Pilot Census.

Dr. Inuwa Jalingo, the Census Manager, described the E-enrollment as one of many steps toward registration preparation, praising the Commission for using advanced innovation to lead the upcoming 2023 Census, similar to Ghana and South Africa.

Dr. Collins Opiyo, the UNFPA’s Chief Technical Adviser for the Nigerian Census 2023, highlighted on the UN framework’s role to support Nigeria in leading a genuine statistics. Dr. Opiyo stated that UNFPA would continue to collaborate with the National Population Commission to ensure that the 2023 registration would be conducted in accordance with international standards.
