The National Population Commission (NPC) has launched an E-Recruiting platform in preparation for the start of the census personnel recruitment process in 2023.
According to information provided by the commission, the launch event took place at 2:28 p.m. today, May 30th, 2022, and was broadcast live on Facebook.
For the Trial Census, the NPC eRecruitment portal is currently available. The e-recruitment portal is geo-fenced, and only applicants who live in the six selected LGAs from six states in Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones are eligible to apply.
The Six selected LGAS and States are as follows:
Brass LGA (Bayelsa State) – South-South zone
Idemili South LGA (Anambra State) – Southeast zone
Imeko-Afon LGA (Ogun State) – Southwest zone
Tongo LGA (Adamawa Stato) – Northeast zone
Karu LGA (Nasarawa State) – Northcentral zone
Daura LGA (Katsina State) – Northwest zone
