The government of Nigeria, through the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), has commenced registration of unemployed persons in Nigeria. The exercise is open to unemployed persons in Nigeria that meet certain requirements which we are going to discuss on this page.
In our previous post, we have updated you on how to participate in the ongoing registration of unemployed people in Nigeria. If you missed that update, don’t worry, you can access it here: how to apply for NDE unemployment registration.
However, this post is just a follow up on the earlier post on how to enrol in the NDE unemployed people registration. We urge all those who have not gotten a job to register in order to take advantage of this golden opportunity.
Requirements for FG registration of unemployed people
Below are the requirements as listed by the National Directorate of employment:
Note: all categories of unemployed citizens of Nigeria are qualified to apply.
- Those who are university graduates or graduates of tertiary institutions.
- All those who possess ND, OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree.
- WAEC and NECO holders are also eligible.
- School dropouts and the uneducated.
- People living with disabilities.
Please note that all the listed categories of people that are unemployed are advised to visit the NDE office in their respective States capitals, and or local government to get registered.
