The Federal Government has started paying the sum of N19,800 with additional N1,800 bicycle allowance to the outgoing 2018 Batch B Stream 1 corp members.
The total of N21,600 will be the last and final allowance for the Corps Members due to pass out on Thursday, 27th June 2019, as they prepare for life after NYSC.
Nyscinfo.com learnt that Corps Members in states like Anambra and Enugu have started receiving since Monday, 24th June 2019.
While, states like Kwara, Akwa Ibom, Kogi, Taraba, Katsina, Osun, Niger, Edo, Ekiti and the rest started receiving today, 25th June 2019.
States that are still yet to receive, shouldn’t worry, because everyone will be paid accordingly.
Some Corps Members were excepting double allowance, without remembering that the FG only pay for 12 months. The reason why the FG won’t pay double allowance to the outgoing Corps Members is because they have earlier received 11 months complete.
After they left the orientation camp on Monday, August 13th 2018, NYSC paid them for August allowance in September 2018 and also paid them for September allowance in the same September 2018.
