Features Galaxy S22 and S22+
The Galaxy S22 features a 6.1-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the S22+ features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The new S22 and S22+ have a similar design to the preceding S21. With the same camera style, especially in the back.
Both devices are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and offer a 120Hz refresh rate. An Armor Aluminum frame is used to create the phones. The S22 has a 1300 nit brightness, whereas the S22+ has a 1750 nit brightness.
In terms of photography, both smartphones have a triple camera arrangement on the rear. This time around, Samsung replaced the predecessor’s 64MP primary lens with the new 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor. Photos taken with the primary lens have a pixel binned resolution of 12.5MP.
There’s also a 12MP ultra-wide lens with a focal length of 13mm. Finally, a 10MP telephoto sensor with 30x optical zoom and 3x spatial zoom is included. Both include a front-facing camera with a resolution of 10 megapixels.
Furthermore, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 SoCs are shared between the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy S22 Ultra (depending on region).
The Galaxy S22 features a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, whereas the Galaxy S22+ has a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The Galaxy S22 will set you back $799, while the Galaxy S22+ will set you back $999. Both come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, respectively. The phones are available in four colors: Phantom Black, Phantom White, Phantom Green, and Pink Gold.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus were released in Nigeria on the same day as the rest of the world. If you want to buy one of these handsets, the S22 Plus 512GB costs N595, 000 Naira, while the S22 Plus 256GB costs N499, 000 Naira. For the standard Galaxy S22, the price in Nigeria starts at N399,000.
