1. Apply On Gov.Uk
Fill out your online visa application at https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/apply-uk-visa. It is important to note that you should apply for your visa well in advance of your travel dates.
2. Create an account with VFS Global to book an appointment and select services.
After completing the online form and paying the visa fee, you will be asked to register on the VFS Global website to upload documents online and/or choose from a selection of practical and optional visa services. If you do not wish to self-upload documents, you can pay for expert assistance with our Document Scanning Assistance service when you visit the Visa Application Center. Make an appointment with the VFS Global Visa Application Center.
3. Review And Make Payment
Following your session, you will be asked to review, confirm, and pay for any additional services you have selected.
4. Submit Your Biometrics to the VFS Global Visa Application Center.
You should arrive at the visa application center 15 minutes before your planned appointment time. Remember to bring your:
- Confirmation of the appointment letter
- Checklist of documents
- If not already posted online, travel and accompanying documents
When To Apply For A UK Visa
The earliest you can often apply is:
- 3 months prior to the day you intend to depart for your visit
- 3 months prior to the commencement of your job for the majority of work visas
- 6 months prior to the commencement of your course for student and child visas
Before you may fly to the United Kingdom, your settlement application must be approved, which might take up to 6 months. If you are granted permission to settle in the UK, you must leave as soon as your authorisation to do so expires.
