How to Apply for Direct Entry (DE) into Universities
Having acquired any of the above listed Degree, below are the procedures for applying Direct Entry into Nigeria Universities:
- Visit nearby JAMB Office to purchase DE form.

Fill the form and submit a copy to JAMB.

Keep a copy for yourself for reference purposes, and

Make a duplicate of it which you shall submit to the Institution you seek admission through Direct Entry.
Important Note: Ask whether the Institution you seek for admission sells Direct Entry form separately from JAMB. Some schools especially in the South East such as the Ebonyi State University (EBSU) have started accepting Direct Entry application directly. Therefore, if you bought DE form from JAMB office, and did not buy from the school, you may not be given admission. We advice that you buy DE form from school, if the school sells it instead from JAMB.
Await the DE admission list by checking the school Website to know when the list is out. Please, ensure you follow strictly the instructions given by JAMB or on the Direct Entry Brochure before filling and submitting the form, as some avoidable mistakes can prevent you from gaining admission. Because most Institution do not conduct external exams for DE applicants.
