How To Apply For Emir Sanusi MSII Teachers Grant Challenge 2023 ($10000)

His Majesty Muhammad Sanusi II, 14th Emir of Kano and UN Advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), inaugurated the yearly MSIl SDG Challenge in 2021 in collaboration with 1 Million Teachers. The goal of this challenge is to inspire and equip teachers to create innovative community projects that address SDG 4 – Quality Education – and SDG 5 – Gender Equality.

The MSII SDG Challenge Incubator is a program intended specifically for educators who want to make a difference in their classrooms, communities, and beyond.

This program seeks to assist teachers in Sub-Saharan Africa. Participants will need to be on the ground to develop and implement their ideas, so we urge that only practicing teachers living in Sub-Saharan Africa apply for the Challenge.

Eligibility: Be a practicing teachers based anywhere in sub-Saharan Africa

Available Grant

Participants in the current phase of the Challenge – The MSIl Incubator will be given up to $2,000 USD to support their innovative educational ventures. You’ll also get the option to pitch your product at the end of the Incubator for a chance to win up to $10,000 USD and entry to our unique Accelerator Program.

How To Apply:

Interested applicants should follow the application process below:

1) Complete and submit an application form before Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 11:59 PM WAT. The application form requests details on the project leader as well as the project itself.

2) If you are selected for an interview, our team will reach out with the details and next steps by the last week of May.

3) The program will begin in mid-July and run until the end of December 2023.
