The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is a distant learning institution established by Federal Government in 1983. How to apply for NOUN admission online
To apply for student admission into the National University of Nigeria, follow these steps:
1) Visit the NOUN official portal at https://www.nouonline.net/
2) Go to the Menu Bar, and click on the ‘Admissions’ link.
3) Select either to apply for NOUN ‘Undergraduate Admissions or ‘Postgraduate Admission’.
4) Click on a Faculty to display its programmes. i.e Science
5) Click on interested Course. i.e Mathematics
6) Choose level. i.e Level 100
7) Click on the ‘Submit’ button
8) Read the compulsory O-level requirements and then click ‘Apply’ button.
9) Fill the displayed NOUN Online Application form
10) Click the “Apply” button to proceed.
Note your unique ID for this application which is displayed after clicking ‘Apply’ i.e. something like this BYHHH3108125427
11) Click on ‘Continue‘ button to pay for the application fee.
12) Select payment option
After payment of NOUN admission form fee, go back to NOUN portal and start from steps 1 to 3 again.
After completion step 3, click “Continue after payment…” link.
13) Enter the RRR you generated during payment.
16) Select program and level
17) Click on “Proceed” button.
18) Fill the online form.
19) After filling the online form
Click the “Submit” button.
20) Print the admission letter.
21) Finally, visit the nearest study centre for screening (must be the study centre you chose when filling the application form).
