Glo berekete is a prepaid tariff plan launched by Globacom Limited in October 2020 to reward its customers with amazing call and data bonuses whenever they recharge their Glo lines with a minimum of N100.
This means that every time a Glo customer recharges his/her line, they get a 700 percent return (in form of bonuses) on their recharge, and more interestingly, every subsequent recharge increases the balance in the Glo Berekete account.

As a subscriber, you can choose from a variety of data plans that suits your budget and usage, and one of such ‘awoof’ plans is the Glo berekete tariff plan.
How does the Glo Berekete plan work?
As explained earlier, Glo Berekete is designed to reward subscribers with a 700 percent bonus on every recharge.
Take, for instance, a simple 100 Naira recharge on the Glo Berekete plan would earn a Glo subscriber a Total Bonus Value of 700 Naira (400 Naira for All-Net Voice Bonus and 300 Naira for Data bonus Value) and an additional 40MB as data bonus.
There is also a special 40MB data bonus on the first 100 Naira recharge of the month, and all these are derivatives of a 100 Niara recharge.
A customer who decides to go large and make a 5,000 Naira recharge on his/her line would earn a Total Bonus Value of 35,000 Naira, which means 20,000 Naira for All-Net Voice calls and 15,000 Naira in data value.
There is also a 2,000 MB (2GB) data bonus attached to this recharge, and a 5,000 MB (5GB) as a special bonus on the first 5,000 Naira recharge of the month.
Interestingly, the main amount recharged would still be intact, and this applies to every recharge, irrespective of denomination.
How can one check the Glo Berekete bonus?
If you are currently on the Glo Berekete plan and you want to know how to check your bonuses, then you are at the right spot.
First, you must note that Glo Berekete is a standalone tariff plan, and by implication, the bonuses cannot be checked the same way regular data plans are checked.
Code to check Glo berekete bonuses
There are special codes to check Glo Berekete data and call bonuses, they are;
- To check your Glo Berekete data bonus balance, dial 1270#
- To check your Glo Berekete call bonus balance, dial 2301#
How long does the Glo Berekete bonus last?
Be informed that the validity period of these bonuses is seven days, irrespective of the amount recharged.
This implies that bonuses not used would not roll over, except other recharges are made in-between the seven-day validity period.
However, if you are currently subscribed to a data plan, your subscription would be paused while you enjoy the Glo Berekete bonus until it gets exhausted or expires. Also, your airtime would be intact, so you do not have to worry.
