As Nigeria gets set to receive the first set of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines, the Federal Ministry of Health has launched an Electronic Management of Immunization Data (EMID) portal for citizens to apply ahead of the vaccination exercise. The vaccination is expected to commence immediately the first 4 million doses arrive Nigeria, and the frontline health care workers are to benefit first, before other priority groups (as would be determined by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency).
