About International Monetary Fund (IMF)

The Worldwide Monetary Fund, or IMF, supports international monetary cooperation and financial stability. It also contributes to the eradication of global poverty by facilitating international trade, increasing employment, and fostering long-term economic growth. The 189 member countries of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) administer the organisation and hold it accountable.

At the United Nations Bretton Woods Conference in New Hampshire in July 1944.
