NYSC News
It’s already 3 months and no more Ebonyi state alawee of N9,757
By Comrade Nnadi Goodluck
The Governor of Ebonyi state, Engr. Dave Umahi have stopped paying NYSC Corps Members deployed to his state for the mandatory one year program, since 3 months ago.
The state alawee which was received by NYSC Corps Members both serving in Public and Private establishment in the state, really helped the Corpers in the state, since the N19,800 that FG is paying is not enough.
The payment of the ₦9,757 monthly lasted for only 5 months (October 2018 – February 2019). It really attracted lots of PCMs to the states, which were hoping to enjoy the state alawee.
Batch A 2019 Corps Members that worked their way to Ebonyi State with huge amount of money, hoping to receive the state alawee are now disappointed and discombobulated, since the payment has been discontinued.
Most Corps Members in the state are lamenting because of the current misfortune that have befallen them, whilst the rest are still being hopeful that the state government will start paying again soon.
