The N-power volunteers in Kano State have distanced themselves from planned protest against the Federal Government over non payment of allowance.
In a statement released to us at Nyscinfo.com by the President N-power Association, Kano, Assalafi isa Ibrahim, he urged all volunteers in Kano State to desist themselves from the planned protest by their colleagues in the other States.
Below is the full statement as obtained by Nyscinfo correspondent;
“We the Npower beneficiaries of Kano state hereby wishes to notify the general public and our members that we are not a part of the ongoing planned protest in respect to the payment of beneficiaries five (5) months backlog or any exit package.
“We wish to state that we are not part of it and we will not be part of it and there is no any of our member here that traveled to abuja for this protest.
“If you will all recall some time ago there was a verification of all beneficiaries with this problem and the authorities in charge have promised to see that this problem is solved. So therefore we will allow the process to go and not interfere in it.
“We the beneficiaries of Kano state Npower, we are law abiding and good citizens of this our dear country.
“So we enjoyed all our members to stay calm and desist from this act as this will not yield any positive result and let the authorities in charge do there job.
