Born on 3rd October 1996 to James and Mercy Iheanacho of Obogwe, Ohaji Egbema local government of Imo state, Kelechi is a Super Eagles’ striker who plays club football for Leicester City Football Club in the English Premier League. His father is a trader while his mother until her death when Kelechi was 14 years, was a teacher. He has a sister and two brothers, one of which is Chibuike Iheanacho who also is a talented footballer. His early football career started at the Taye Football Academy in Owerri, Imo state.
