It is Nigeria’s largest university, with 15,000 hectares of territory. The University of Ilorin is located in latitude 8.4799¬į N and longitude 4.5418¬į E in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State. The University of Ilorin was one of the first universities in Sub-Saharan Africa to offer continuous academic programmes for almost 16 years.

The University of Ilorin, Kwara, announced in August 2018 that it has set aside 5,000 hectares of its 15,000-hectare landmass for commercial agricultural allotment to interested personnel and students.

Prof. Sulyman Abdulkareem, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, made the announcement in Ilorin at the official presentation of things acquired by the Faculty of Agriculture’s 1988 University set. 2. University of Abuja

Land Size: 11,824 hectares

The university features a small campus in Gwagwalada, Abuja, Nigeria, and a permanent location along the Kaduna – Lokoja – Abuja Road that covers 11,824 hectares.

The University of Abuja began operations on a temporary location in Gwagwalada, consisting of three blocks of building originally intended for a primary school and dubbed the “mini-campus.”

In 1990, academic activity on the mini-campus began The university was allocated an area of roughly 11,800 hectares along the Abuja Airport road in the same year for the construction of its main campus. There are presently 1539 courses available at the institution. There are 15,000 students and 1700 instructors at UNIABUJA.

3. Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
