Every tournament has a champion, and to keep track of them, we’ve listed Big Brother Naija Winners from Season 1 to Date, the same way we have done for history makers in other TV reality shows in Nigeria, be it the soon to begin Gulder Ultimate Search, MTN Project Fame, the Voice Nigeria, Or the Nigerian Idol etc. In this post, we share with you the list of BBNaija winners from the season till date.
As we all know, every season of BBNaija has its motto (theme). The theme for each year of Big Brother Naija is listed in the table below.
Winners of Big Brother Naija since Season 1
Big Brother Nigeria, as we all know, is a Nigerian reality competition television series based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which 12 to 21 contestants live in an isolated home and vie for a significant financial reward.
Aside from the grand prize, there are million-naira deals for other participants who do not win the top prize. We’ve noticed that other housemates (not the winner) have gotten more contract offers over time.
1. Aduwak Katung
In 2006, Katung Aduwak was the first to experience the thrill of winning the BBNaija reality programme. Olisa Adibua and Michelle Dede then presented it.
Katung Aduwak is a film and television producer who is now working on music videos and television programmes. He is one of the directors of some of Africa Magic’s series and TV shows.
2. Efe Ejeba (Efe Ejeba)
Everyone know “Efe” since he brought so many Warri slangs into the house. He was crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija 2 in 2017 with the theme “See Gobbe.”
Efe has always been an entertainer and artist, both before and after the BBNaija show. Despite living in Jos, he became famous for representing the streets of Warri. Following the programme, he maintained his musical career in the entertainment industry. Olamide, Iceprince, and BOJ are among the top music acts with whom he has collaborated.
3. Igbokwe Miracle
He is the Triple Wahala winner of BBNaija Season 3. The subject for this edition was Double Wahala, which was also held in South Africa. And it was truly a wahala.
Miracle has always wanted to obtain training to become a professional and commercial pilot since the beginning of the show.
He returned to school immediately after the show concluded to pursue a career as a professional and commercial pilot.
4. Eke Mercy
Mercy Eke has become the first female winner of the Big Brother Nigeria reality television series in 2019. The fourth event took place in Nigeria, and the subject was ‘Pepper Dem.’
Mercy is a model as well as an aspiring artist. Before she was formally proclaimed the Big Brother Naija 4 winner, she revealed that she fell in love with one of the housemates, “Ike,” and opted to stay with him.
Mike, Frodd, Seyi, and Omashola were the other top four housemates who battled for the title alongside her. Mike and Mercy are still in the running for the N60 million prize after the eviction.
5. Olamilekan Agbeleshe
In 1994, Laycon Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe was born. He is a celebrated rapper and a songwriter.
He went to the University of Lagos to study (2012-2016). He earned a BA in Philosophy, Second Class Upper, from the university.
Laycon was the first participant to remain on the BBNaija show and has millions of Instagram and Facebook followers. Indeed, God’s favour was upon him the entire time.
While Laycon is not a particularly problematic housemate, he appears to have gotten himself into a ‘entanglement’ with Erica. Laycon started to have feelings for Erica and expressed his want to be in a relationship with her.
