The Nautical Academy of Nigeria is the most distinguished nautical institution in the country. The institution is located in Oron, Akwa Ibom State, in the country’s coastal area.

The institute offers maritime training that adheres to the IMO’s Code for Standard of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW).
