We are pleased to inform you that MTN is currently inviting female entrepreneurs to apply for its Yellopreneur Capacity Building Training empowerment program. An applicant stands a chance of getting up to N2 million equipment loan. The aim of the MTN Yellopreneur is to reduce or minimize women’s unemployment rate and advance women’s development in entrepreneurship via capacity building to enhance their entrepreneurial abilities. Who can Apply For MTN Yellopreneur Loan?

Any female entrepreneur who can display passion and commitment to self-employment and run an existing business of up to two years in manufacturing, processing, ICT, agriculture, digital services, Financial services, and so on.

Kindly note that the focus is on businesses that source raw materials locally.

Qualification

The minimum qualification for the MTN Yellopreneur loan is a Senior Secondary School Certificate such as WAEC, NECO, NATEB or its equivalents.

Disbursement Bank

The disbursement bank or implementing partner on this initiative with the MTN Foundation is the Bank of Industry (BOI).

Capacity Building (Training)

There is going to be a virtual (online) training session that involves self-paced and instructor-led sessions. MTN will provide data throughout the training period.

Training Date

The virtual MTN Yellopreneur training is scheduled to hold for a Four (4) weeks period in August 2022. Loan equipment Value: Each female entrepreneur will receive up to a N2million equipment loan subject to their business plan analysis.

Loan repayment period

The MTN Yellopreneur loan repayment period is 6 months moratorium and 36 months repayment period.

Note: This loan repayment is subject to the terms and conditions agreed by the female entrepreneur beneficiary with BOI.
