NMFB Warns Nigerians Against Fake Loan Agents
The NIRSAL Microfinance Bank (NFMFB) has warned Nigerian youths and the general public against individuals parading themselves as its agents/staff, and thereby collecting money from unsuspecting members of the public for loans processing.
The bank, in a statement, said its attention was drawn to unethical practices being perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals parading as its staff or agents, demanding and receiving money from their victims for purportedly securing of COVID-19 Targeted Credit Facility Loan or AGSMEIS Loan.
The statement said;
“The attention of the management of NIRSAL Microfinance Bank has been drawn to some unethical practices being perpetrated by individuals disguising as its staff or agents, demanding and receiving money from unsuspecting members of the public purportedly to secure COVID-19 Targeted Credit Facility or the AGSMEIS Loan.
“We also wish to inform the general public who may have been scammed by these unscrupulous people to lodge a complaint on our Whistleblowing portal by sending us an email on WHISTLEBLOWER AT (whistleblower@nmfb.com.ng).”
