NYSC Member Dies On Her Way To Kwara On Relocation

We regret to announce the passing away of a beautiful female NYSC member (Corper) on her way to Kwara State.

The NYSC Oyo State Coordinator, Mrs. Grace Ogbuogebe, on Monday, paid a condolence visit to the family of the demised Corps member, Olaleye Bukola Olukolade, at the family compound in llora, Afijio local government area of the State.

Bukola was deployed to observe her one-year mandatory national service in Imo [IM/22A/2156] but died in a ghastly motor accident on her way to Kwara state on relocation after 21-day in NYSC Imo orientation camp.

The unfortunate accident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle when they had almost gotten to Ilorin.

Meanwhile, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe, who represented the NYSC Director-General, Shuaibu Ibrahim, described the demise of the corps member as a great loss not only to the family but also to the National Youth Service Corps.

She said that Bukola’s death at the time she should be serving her country was equally a loss to the nation.

A token of support was thereafter presented to the family of the Corper on behalf of the NYSC management.
