Information reaching our new desk is that many applicants of police recruitment that came for physical and credentials screening of the ninth regular course intake of Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State were left stranded.
The affected applicants were invited from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory for the recruitment processes in Kano, but their names were omitted on the certified list of applicants.
Other applicants complained about outright disqualification from the list of the next stage of the recruitment after passing through the first stage.
Nyscinfo learnt that over 10,000 out of hundreds of thousands of applicants were shortlisted nationwide for the professional police regimental and degree programme in Kano.
As at the time of this publication, the commandant of the Academy, AIG Ahmad Abdurrahman, was not available to address journalists.
However, an insider advised applicants who had challenges to channel their complaints to the appropriate authorities.
