The mop-up screening for applicants in the ongoing 10,000 constables recruitment in 2021 has been prolonged, according to the Enugu police command.
The screening, which includes physical and background checks in all 17 local government regions, has been extended until February 8th.
βSuccessful applicants in the ongoing 2021 recruitment of 10,000 police constables into the Nigeria Police from the 17 LGAs are hereby informed that date for the mop-up exercise of those who have not been screened has been extended to Tuesday, February 8,β the police statement said on Monday.
The mop-up effort, according to the command’s spokesperson Daniel Ndukwe, would begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Senior Police Officers’ Mess, Agbani Road, Enugu.
A mop-up activity for those who missed the screening was scheduled on Monday, February 7, according to the spokesman in January.
Meanwhile, he stated that as of Monday morning, 309 candidates from the state had been screened.
