PTDF Scholarship Application Portal For 2021/2022

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has announced this year’s scholarship programme for Nigerians, and is inviting applications from qualified Nigerians for award of the Federal Government approved scholarship for Undergraduate, Masters and PhD categories for students in Federal Universities across the country. How to apply for PTDF Scholarship

Interested applicants can access the application form from the PTDF scholarship portal on www.scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng.

Requirements for PTDF scholarship application 2021/2022

For Undergraduate:

  • Must be a full-time student of listed Federal university.
  •  Be a 200-level student.
  • Study a course related to Oil and Gas industry.
  • Have been admitted not later than 2018/2019 session.
  • Must possess 5 credits pass including English language and Mathematics in either of NECO/WAEC/SSCE.
  • Have minimum CGPA of 3.5, equivalent of 2.1 in the first year for 2018/2019 session
  • Must provide transcript signed and stamped by HOD or Exam Officer.

If you meet the above requirements, you can upload the documents listed below:

  • Statement of WAEC/NECO/SSCE result which must contain 5 credits (English and Maths inclusive) in not more than 2-sittings.
  • Admission letter issued on admission by the university.
  • 100-level transcript signed and stamped by HOD or Exam Officer.
  • Certificate of state and local government of origin.
  • A motivation letter of 1, 000 words stating your reasons for studying the course.

For Masters Degree (requirements):

  • Admission letter into full-time study at a federal university.
  • Have second class upper (2.1) in a related course or 2.2 minimum with 2 years working experience in a field related to oil and gas.
  • Possess 5 credits passes including English language and Mathematics in either of NECO/WAEC/SSCE in not more than 2-sittings.
  • Have NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption letter.
  • Certificate of state and local government of origin.
  • A motivation letter of 1,000 words stating your reasons for studying the course.
