The Management of SASSA has released the payment schedule for the month of May 2023. According to the schedule:
1) OLDER PERSON’S GRANTS will be paid from Wednesday, 02 August 2023. This includes any grants linked to these accounts:
2) DISABILITY GRANTS will be paid from Thursday, 03 August 2023. This includes any grants linked to these accounts.

According to SASSA, there is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.
