Two Corps Members Get Automatic Employment in Abia

The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has awarded automatic employment to two Corps members out of five from 2019 Batch B and C who distinguished themselves during the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

The five (5) distinguished corps members are:

  1. Nyah Patrick,

  2. Ogunlere Oluwetobi Mathew,

  3. Adeola Oluwagbemileke Samuel,

  4. Sebe Godspower Oghenemaroh and

  5. Babatunde Dolapo

Thry received state honours award and cash prizes for their outstanding performance and execution of some life touching personal Community Development Service (CDS) projects.

Presenting the awards to the benefiary corps members, Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu congratulated the awardees for achieving the feat despite the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic.

The governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Chris Ezem, said that the current administration, in line with its resolve to reward and honour every outstanding corps member, had offered automatic employment to two ex-corps members, who performed well during the service year.

He urged the corps members not to relent in rendering selfless service to humanity wherever they find themselves, stressing that the reward for hard work is more work.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and Chairman, NYSC State Governing Board, Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu, thanked the governor for his support, which, according to him, made the ceremony a reality.

    I need clearrity on date of birth, the date of birth on my green card is 06-05-1991 while I the one on my credentials is 01-01-1991,my question now is that is their going to be problem since day and month differ,if yes then how do I do about it.
