Vital Information for Foreign trained PCMs (Batch A, 2021)

This is a must read for Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) who graduated from tertiary institutions of learning outside Nigeria and have been mobilized for Service.

REMINDER: Registration for the 2021 Batch A Service Year begins on Wednesday, 3rd March, 2021, and would end on Sunday, the 7th of March 2021.

PCMs can access the NYSC registration portal via https://portal.nysc.gov.ng/

As a Foreign trained PCM, you are expected to note the following;

• Visit https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ForeignReq.aspx and read the full requirements for the mobilization process

• Creation of multiple accounts is prohibited

• Ensure that your names are entered correctly as they are on your Certificates

• Upload only original copies of your documents

• Though the online registration can be done anywhere, you must do the biometric thumbprint in Nigeria before proceeding to the orientation camp

• Obtain your evaluation letter from the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja and submit same at the NYSC NDHQ, Abuja

• O’ level results uploaded must be equal to, or more than four years from the time of upload

• Choose a suitable centre for physical pre-camp verification during the online registration process

• You must present yourself for physical verification (at your chosen centre) with original copies of your degree certificate, transcript and travel documents after a successful online registration

• After your documents have been physically verified, print out your clearance slip and present it at your camp of deployment, together with original copies of your documents

• If you studied in a non English speaking country, you are to translate your Certificate and go to camp with the translated version

• PCMs exempted from Service should get their Exemption Certificates from the NYSC NDHQ, Abuja

• If you are excluded from Service, you will have to print your Exclusion Letter from your dashboard on the NYSC portal
