Requirements for Nigerian Idol Registration

  1. Age Limit: The Nigerian Idol show is designed to only admit youths within the age range of 16-28 years. To ensure this is upheld, all applicants to the show must present two identity forms during registration. All are to note that documents such as driving license and birth certificate will not be accepted.

  2. The venue is closed to children below 5 years

  3. Dresses with crested designer name are prohibited. You are therefore advised to go to the venue in plain dresses.

  4. You are to compulsorily go to the venue of audition with the wristband given to you on the day of registration.

  5. All applicants must be citizens of Nigerian by birth

  6. As a basic measure, all applicants must live in Nigeria.

  7. Participants in the past editions of Nigerian Idol West Africa are not eligible for participation again

Nigerian Idol Season 8 Audition Venues.

Officially, there are four (4) locations where auditions will take place. The following Nigerian cities are the certified places to register for Nigerian Idol Season 8.

  • Port Harcourt
  • Abuja
  • Lagos
  • Enugu

How to Register for Nigerian Idol.

Applicants are required to visit the Nigerian Idol Season 8 registration portay www.nigerianidol.com, and complete the online application form by filling in the essential information.

After registering your information successfully, send your name and preferred audition city, via sms, to 5599 from a 9mobile (Etisalat) line only. (SMS costs 100 each).

Subsequently, a confirmation message will be sent to you. DO NOT delete this sms, as you will have to present it at the venue of the audition.
