VP Osinbajo tests negative to coronavirus

Nigerian Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has tested negative for coronavirus, barely 24 hours after he went into self-isolation following fears he could have physically interacted with Abba Kyari who tested positive on Monday.

This was made known through a tweet by Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the Nigerian President on Political Matters.


“Vice President Yemi Osinbajo tested negative.” He tweeted.

At the time of filling this report, Nigeria has a total of 46 confirmed cases of the virus in the country, 2 persons have been discharged with one death.
