Are you a young African leader wishing to explore and share ideas? If ‘yes’ then it will be nice if you apply for the YALI 2022 Mandela Washington Fellowship, which is meant for young Africans.

The YALI Mandela Washington Fellowship is a yearly program. Read also: How to Apply for Facebook Fellowship 2022

Successful applicants are meant to share their experiences with other Fellows, including United State (U.S) citizens.

The Fellowship course will be held at a U.S University or college for a duration of a month and two weeks (6 weeks).

Eligibility

The required criteria are;

  1. Be within 25 to 35 years of age within the application period.
  2. Should not be a U.S citizen or permanent resident there.
  3. Be able to receive a U.S visa.
  4. Should not be a family member to anyone working with the U.S government.
  5. Be proficient in English Language, especially on writing, reading, and speaking.
  6. Not alumni of Mandela Washington Fellowship, and should reside in any of the eligible country.
  7. Be a bonafide citizen(s) from any of the following countries;

Note: Applicants within 21 to 24 years might be considered.
