1000 Youths To be Trained In Creative Industry – FMYSD

Few days ago, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development (FMYSD) announced publicly about the Digital Skills Training For Youths, and how to apply.

FMYSDOne of the area FMYSD will be training the youths is the creative industry, and to achieve this, the ministry has successfully partner with Ogidi Studios who will assist in training one thousand (1,000) youths in the music production section of the creative industry.

Chief Sunday Dare, the minister of FMYSD gave the information during the commissioning of the studios. He went on to encourage the youths to comply and accept this option which will end up as a source of entrepreneurship to those that will succeed during the training, and acquire the necessary skills to excel in the field.

With no doubt successful trainee will be able to set up their own studios, and contributes to the growth of the country’s economy in the nearest future.

He went on to say “Most youths future will be built in this sector of the creative industry, where the training will be carried out within 2–4 weeks”.

The minister announced also that the ministry will pay for all expenses that will make participants be certified during the training course and become entrepreneurs, help create wealth for themselves, employ others and as well bring about economical growth to the country.

After the training, the minister believes other governmental bodies will affiliate with participants, and the partnership will cover the following courses;

  • 2D Animation.
  • Graphic design.
  • Sound production.
  • Video editing Pro.
  • Art Direction.
  • Film making 101.
  • Cinematography.
  • Creative Writing.
