100,000 Out of 250,000 Businesses Benefits From FG Free CAC Business Name Registration

Did you apply for MSME Survival Fund program? Do you mind knowing the updates in regards to those who have started benefiting from the scheme? If ‘yes’ kindly go through this post as it unveil the records so far.

Under the survival fund scheme, there are several categories Applicants are to benefit from.

These categories are four (4) in number, and they include;

  • Payroll
  • Formalization
  • SME grant
  • Guaranteed Offtake

As at current, one hundred thousand (100,000) business names have been registered freely by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), leaving about one hundred and fifty thousand (150,000) businesses left to be registered in due course.

The stipulated number of firms to be granted free CAC registration by the Federal Government of Nigeria, through SurvivalFund scheme are two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) businesses in total.

Aside the CAC aspect, other categories are as well having good records. About two hundred and ninety six thousand, thirty-two (296,032) employees who were under the payroll category have started benefiting. While one hundred and sixty-six thousand (166,000) artisans have benefited also, in the Artisan support scheme.

The portal to get registered for the Payroll support scheme was made open due to the fact that, some States are yet to get the required number of applicants.

Note: Interested applicants should not in any way pay for survival funds registration process. The registration process is free of charge, and once successfully enrolled, you are to benefit from any of the four (4) categories scheme has.
