The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), and the Federal Government of Nigeria has collectively brought in an initiative that will likely empower about twenty million (20,000,000) young Nigerians, within the year 2021 to 2030.

The Initiative which is known as ‘UNICEF Expended Education Scheme’ will cover not only education but training on several fields, and also empowerment that will in turn enhance the future job growth of the country.
According to the Vice president of the Federation Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), the targeted beneficiaries of the scheme will be within the ages of 10 to 24 years.

The disclosure of this very program (UNICEF Expended Education Scheme) was made known at the official opening of the Generation Unlimited Program (GenU), by the Vice President on Monday 26th of July, 2021 through a recorded message.

Concerning the GenU program, the Vice President emphasizes more on its benefits which includes; Making Nigerians to be equipped with resourceful digital skills, making them to become successful entrepreneurs, and possibly attaining their full potential within a short time frame. The GenU program will also accommodate twenty million (20,000,000) Nigerians, who already have digital knowledge.
