If you are interested in learning to code or computer programming as some know it, there is a great opportunity for you to realize this dream and make money from building mobile phone applications for individuals, business and even multi-nationals. She Code Africa invites applications from interested women across Africa to take part in the 2021 Summer Code Camp to inspire and nurture their interests in STEM. The Summer Code Camp is an annual initiative of She Code Africa, and it is targeted and women, especially High School girls from across Africa.

The 2021 edition will be held fully online from 7th – 2th of August 2021, over four Saturdays. The girls will be hosted by accomplished African women in the STEM via series of exciting and engaging activities and events – all for free.

The Summer Code Camp created by She Code Africa will provide a 4-week learning Boot camp for junior and high school girls across Africa to teach them on technology and put them through learning in different tracks in the tech industry.

The 2021 edition of the summer camp will be held virtually from 7th – 28th August 2021, on all the 4 Saturdays of the month.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must identify as a girl.
  • Must be between ages 10 and 18.
  • Be a resident of Africa.
  • Have a working laptop.
  • Must have access to internet connectivity for the duration.
  • You must have access to power supply for the duration.

Step 2: Application will be reviewed by She Code Africa (SCA) Team.

Step 3: Once your application is accepted/rejected, you will receive email with further information about your application status.
