The University of Lucerne will host the Lucerne Summer University: Ethics in a Global Context LSUE from June 1–6, 2023, under the sponsorship of UNESCO.
The Lucerne Summer University: Global Ethics Young students are given the opportunity via LSUE, which is sponsored by UNESCO, to consider contemporary and future ethical issues outside the confines of academic disciplines, cultures, and religions, and to work together to find answers in a global setting.
It is ideal to foster a global network of committed decision makers who share knowledge, offer advice, and collaborate through this pragmatic and action-oriented dialogue. “Know how, act now” serves as the initiative’s guiding premise.

Lucerne University Ethics in a Global Context Qualification Requirements
- Open to MA students from all disciplines who have never participated in a previous LSUE;
- Good command of English: the entire LSUE is conducted in English;
- A final paper (10-12 pages) needs to be submitted.

- Recommendation letters from two professors (one page each)
