Nexit Shortlists 75,600 Applicants 1st Batch Nexit Training

75,600 Nexit applicants have been selected for the first batch of Nexit training, which will begin next week in Abuja with the flag-off. One of the management team members revealed this information.

According to the SA media and publicity to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Ministry, the first batch of 75,600 exited beneficiaries from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will be trained in Abuja next week for a five-day entrepreneurial training that will qualify them for loans.

Their training organizations have already informed these 75600 Nexit applicants via email regarding the training schedule. Be patient if you haven’t been invited; the training agency handles invitations differently in each state.

During the training availability confirmation stage, 230,000 people successfully registered into the USSD code, confirming their residences and readiness for the #NEXIT training programme, according to the SA Media to Minister Nneka Ikem.

You may recall that when the CBN introduced the portal, just 370,000 Npower exiting beneficiaries were supposed to have expressed interest. And if 230,000 Nexit applicants used the USSD code to confirm their training availability, that means at least 140,000 have still to confirm their availability for the course.

However, if you have not yet used the USSD code to confirm training availability, please phone *45665# to see whether you can still confirm your training availability.

The Nexit training is for exited Npower batches A and B beneficiaries, and it was created by the Federal Government in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria to provide empowerment business training and a loan as part of an exit package for disengaged Npower volunteers. The training will be officially launched by the federal government next week.
