The world-class residential secondary school Government College Umuahia (GCU), founded in 1929 by Robert Fisher and recently purchased from the government by the Old Boys and managed by a group of reputable Old Boys known as the Fisher Educational Development Trust (FEDT), is situated in Umuahia, Abia State. Requirements
- B.Ed., B.Sc (ED), B.A, B.A (ED) / PGDE. PDE in the relevant field of study. TRCN certification is an advantage.
- 2-3 years minimum teaching experience at secondary school level in a similar role.
- Experience in both British and Nigerian Curricula.
- Willing to relocate/work in Umuahia, Abia State.
- Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
