The Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy oversees the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), which is encouraging interested parents to apply for this year’s Bootcamp for Kids program for their kids.
The program, which would be carried out by NITDA subsidiary National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), Abuja, is in partnership with hubs across the country to facilitate the execution of the program and is in line with NITDA’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2021-2024) pillar of Emerging Technologies and the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS) of the Federal Government.
Over the course of a 10-day training period, the children will receive a variety of hands-on instruction in the fields of extended reality, artificial intelligence, robotics and drone technology, digital communication, and the internet of things.
The course will take place in the e-Government Training Centre, Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) Kubwa in Abuja, Shamrock Innovations in Kano, and TEF Community Innovation Hub in Lagos from Wednesday, August 31, 2022, to Saturday, September 10, 2022.
