The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation said it has taken possession of monies kept by the consultants for many months.
Mr Akindele, the National Program Manager of N-Power, made the revelation after meeting with representatives of the N-Power beneficiaries.
With this recovery, N-Power beneficiaries who are being owed a backlog of monthly stipends can now look forward to getting your monies soon.
The National Program Manager said Dr Betta Edu, the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian affairs, and Poverty Alleviation, have been working assiduously to end all irregularities within the Program and other social investment programmes.
Speaking further, the manager blamed these irregularities for the common man’s loss of faith in the ability of government to provide social safety cover for its citizenry. He, however, maintained that Dr Betta Edu is taking all necessary steps to address these issues and deliver the Renewed Hope Mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Nigerians.
