Today, I want to tell you about the awesome Deloitte/One Young World Scholarship Program. It’s a super cool opportunity for young people like you to make a difference in the world.
Deloitte, a long-time partner of One Young World, is proud to announce its support for the Deloitte One Young World Scholarship 2024. This scholarship will enable five exceptional young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit in Montreal, Canada from September 18th to 21st, 2024.
The purpose of this scholarship is to assist young leaders who are dedicated to addressing pressing issues such as climate change, improving education, enhancing skills, and expanding opportunities in their communities, countries, or globally.
The Deloitte/One Young World Scholarship Program offers the following benefits to scholars:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal.
- Subject to travel restrictions, scholars will receive hotel accommodation in a private room from September 18th to 21st, 2024.
- The cost of economy class travel to and from Montreal.
- Catering, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided by the hotel during the Summit.
- Ground transportation between Summit venues.
- Participation in Deloitte-hosted sessions for their delegation leading up to and during the Summit, as well as a designated Deloitte “buddy.”
Qualifications for Deloitte/One Young World Scholarship Program
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Individuals from any country can apply for this scholarship, but their projects must be based in a location where Deloitte operates
- Must have a proven commitment to creating positive change
- Must demonstrate leadership abilities
- Should have an understanding of important local and/or global issues
- Must have a track record of developing impactful and innovative solutions to address climate and environmental challenges, or education and skills-based challenges
While most delegates are between the ages of 18 and 30, the One Young World team will consider applications from individuals older than 30 if they can demonstrate personal impact, initiative, and a willingness to engage. However, applications from individuals under the age of 18 at the time of the Summit will not be accepted.
