NYSC Accredited Registration Centres Nationwide

Do you want to know more about the NYSC accredited registration centres in Nigeria? If ‘yes’, you are on the right page. Surprisingly, there’s NO functional accredited centres for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) online registration for 2021 Batch B. To understand this message, you are advised to read till the end.

In the past there used to be NYSC online registration accredited centres in Nigeria. But in recent times those centres stop to exist. So, as at today, there’s no NYSC accredited centre in any part of the country. Although, you may keep hearing people saying there is NYSC accredited centres, this and that. The best thing to do is to disregard those false information.

If there is no NYSC accredited centres where then do we register?

You can register at any trusted Cyber Café in Nigeria. Any Cyber Cafe that is good for registering JAMB can also handles NYSC online registration. Also, you can register at the comfort of your home if you have a laptop or a very good smartphone and fingerprint scanner.

WARNING: The NYSC online registration requires that you use “Digital Persona 4500” fingerprint reader for your biometric capturing. However, if you are not familiar with the fingerprinter reader we are talking about, see the picture below;

Digital Persona 4500

***The price is about N20,000

So, if you want to register yourself, try to get that finger printer reader close to yourself. But if you must register at Cyber Cafe, then ensure they use Digital Persona 4500 for your thumb printing.

Any Cyber Cafe that do JAMB registration usually have Digital Persona 4500. That is why we said earlier that you can do your NYSC registration at any Cyber Cafe that’s good for registering JAMB. Please, don’t use any other type of fingerprinter reader, and never thumb print by proxy (allowing another person to thumbprint on your behalf).

NYSC website for online registration

The website address is www.portal.nysc.gov.ng.

That is the website you should go for the upcoming NYSC online registration.

How to register with your computer if you don’t have Digital Persona 4500

If you don’t have the Finger Print Reader, there is still a way you can register with your computer or smartphone.

  1. Start the registration with your computer or smartphone
  2. When you get to a stage where you need finger printer reader, save your work and log off.
  3. Go to any cyber cafe that has finger printer reader and login with their computer.
  4. Use their fingerprint reader to continue. After that save your work and log off.
  5. Go back home and login with your computer to complete your registration.
